Going Green - Fab N Funky DT

Good Morning

I hope your week is going well, I always like doing my Wednesday post coz it's half way to the weekend!! Yippee!!!

Ok this week at Fab n Funky our challenge is a St Patricks Day theme or if you prefer just to use green as your main feature colour.

The prize this week is a GDT slot, we would love to have you come join us!

I have to be honest I struggled a bit with this one, um just was not in the mood but it's kind of grown on me a bit!!

I love the image though which is Lily in Rain gear from Pink Cat Studio and I wanted to draw some puddles but was too scared LOL!!!

She is coloured with copics and the papers are Dovecraft's Back to Basics II. I have gone for the wonky look which I just love at the moment and seem to keep using!! The flowers and gems are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

This is Barney from Digi Stamp Boutique, now I know I have already done a post using him this week but he is just so sweet and he is just perfect for a card I wanted to make for someone. The papers are those Fab Back to Basics II from Dovecraft, just love the zingy fresh colour of this green and I added a splash of orange which I though made a nice spring colour combo. The ribbon is Stampin Up ' certain celery' and I have also used the Tiny Tags set also by Stampin UP.

We have blue skies and sunshine today now that was nice to wake up to!

I would like to say a massive THANK YOU for all of you that went and signed the petition following the attack on my little Max, so far over 200 names have been added from this appeal. The support has been brilliant and has really helped us over the last few days. Max is doing really well the wounds are healing nicely and he is far more comfortable now. Tail is wagging again too!!!

Just another quick plug, if you haven't seen the post yet and want to, here it is but be warned the pics are nasty!

Ok onto my card which I made for Sheila and Ian Ferguson, known to Max as Mr and Mrs Biscuits as every weekend he used to invite himself into their home and help himself!! hehe. Honestly without them Max would not be here and that is no exaggeration, it is a fact, we are indebted to them forever!!

The fab papers are Dovecrafts Sugar and Spice and the matching flower is from the same range and I popped a lovely pink pearl in the centre. I have used Spring Kiki from CC Designs, what a little sweetie she is. I have coloured with promarkers and whispers and used my rectangle nestabilities. The papers are 'Tea Party' by Dovecraft another smashing set of papers. The sentiment is a digi from Digi Stamp Boutique. I also used my MS heart border punch and the butterfly one is I think by Docrafts,( its been so long since I used this one) its the dimension punch but I have cut the butterfly free! Ribbon and gems from stash.

Still making Christmas Cards

Oh No, I am so way behind, LOL, I really wish I started earlier now! Anyway made this one for mum and dad now just hope the post gets it there in time. Every year I swear I will be more organised but I never am! hehe.

I still have to work all next week including Christmas Eve, clean the whole house, do all the food shopping, put the tree up, make 3 more Christmas cards and 2 birthday cards, still got some wrapping up, cook a dinner today, ironing and I have a house full of kids that couldn't get home yesterday due to the snow!!! Gosh I'm exhausted just writing it, better go and get on with it!!!!

My card is using a digi from Digi Stamp Boutique, its Chloe and she is very happy to have collected her tree! She is coloured with promarkers, and is walking along in a nice splattering of twinklets. I have also used Kars snowflake punch and MS circles border punch. Flowers from WOC Crafts.

Dream.........

Good Morning


Well my mood sure changed quickly, got up this morning mega grumpy due the fact that I have to go back to work tomorrow and I have been a bit naughty and not done half of what I should have. But on the other hand I have had a really good rest which was long overdue.


I started this card at the craft meet yesterday, a lovely lady called Sandra took along a little sketch challenge so I used it for this card and finished it today.



This image has got to be one of my absolute favs as far as the animal cuties go, sound asleep all snuggled up, just so cute. It is from the Jolly Friends set by Penny Black. He is coloured with promarkers and usually I do browny pink tones but gone for grey shades on this one as per a lovely lady called Georgina who is a dab hand with promarkers and I must admit I prefer it.

Christmas Kisses!!!

Good Evening

Wow have I had a good day today!! I got my first top 3 for a challenge card and I got a fab comment from Stitchy herself at Stitchy Bear Stamps for my DT card this week. Then a group of us from the Do Crafts forum met up this afternoon for some Christmas crafting, it was really nice to put some faces to names. Had a really fab afternoon and a big thank you to Lisa for organising the event. I made hubby's xmas card, believe it or not I have never made him a card, how bad is that!!!
I chose this Zoe and Henry image from Digi Stamp Boutique, but of course for this card they have been renamed to Rich and Kaz (ahh anyone feeling sick)!! I have coloured with promarkers and used a paper from the Dovecraft Christmas pack, I chose green as hubby's fav colour. Jazzed it up a bit with a nice red gingham bow and some gems from Wild Orchid Crafts. My sister lent me the fab border punch.

Oh and did you see Strictly tonight, what a show and Matt was ace, and really sexy and really hot (swoon swoon!!!!)

James Bear (and a very large cracker)!!!!!

Good evening


Popped out today and managed a little bit of Christmas shopping, is it me or are all the gifts the same now, year after year or does it just mean I am getting old LOL!!!


I have faffed about for what seems like forever with this card and I am all faffed out now.

I have used James Bear from LOTV and he has a very big cracker which I think must be to pull with Jenny Bear, oh he is a bit saucy.



He is coloured with promarkers and I have part coloured and part paper pieced the cracker. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and they have been chalked and stickled up. I found a little bit of twizzle lurking around so I added that to the white ribbon. I also used up my little bit of frayed ribbon which I have nearly thrown away a few times cause I didn't think I would ever use it but it is the perfect colour match for this card. I also used cosmic shimmer for the star on the cracker and twinklets for the hat.
