I hope you are having a great weekend, OMG the weather here in Kent is appalling, howling winds, hasn't stopped bloomin raining and so cold BBrrr!!  Apologies again for not popping round to see you, my MIL is staying so blogging time is limited, promise normal service will resume in a couple of days!

Paper Piecing - CES DT

Happy Saturday, not sure what I will get up to yet today but I am sure it will include some crafty time!
Today over at CES I have chosen the theme of Paper Piecing, you can do a little or a lot, it's up to you.

I am sad and also redundant (LOL) as Emma has decided to close her on line store due to lack of time, being a mummy sure uses a lot of that up!  I totally understand that though and I have so loved being part of this team,.  I think we will have a few more challenges yet but make sure you keep checking out the store though as there will be offers to clear the stock, at the moment there is 25% off card blanks and cello bags, go grab em!!

I woke up feeling like a right misog today,its throwing it down with rain, very gloomy, hubby still walked the dog in it and now he smells (the dog that is)!! Never mind hopefully I will have some time in my cupboard today, that will help cheer me up!!

Here Comes the Bride..............Fab N Funky DT

Good Morning

Oh I think I can still say it, Yippee its half way to the weekend, except it's an extra long weekend so may be we are over halfway.....even better!!!

Now this week our theme is linked to the forthcoming Royal Wedding when everyone in the UK will get an extra Bank Holiday . . . whoooo ! So we would like to see all your wedding or tying the knot themed projects for this week.

This happy little couple is Henry and Zoe from Digi Stamp Boutique, arn't they cute together!

Coloured with copics and of course the veil was just screaming out to be stickled to the exteme!!

I finished with a nice big white bow and the fab centre gem I got from Ally Pally a couple of weeks ago, oh what a fab bit of bling! I used my MS heart punch too and stamped the sentiment.

A bit Sketchy - Fab N Funky DT

Now I am sure you know what I am going to say, Yep, Yippee half way to the weekend!! hehe

We have a fab sketch for you this week at Fab n Funky which our lovely Emma has done, great job Emma!!

I have used this cheeky little chap from Digi Stamp Boutique, he is called Sammy. I have coloured him with copics and the papers, oh I love them for male cards are Forever Friends, Retro collection, FAB! You can't see it very well but the little brad I put on his hat says 'Boys Rule' which of course they dont! The circles are using the 1 inch punch from Stampin Up and a little star punch for the centre, finished with a few candy as well.

The papers are those Fab Back to Basics II from Dovecraft, just love the zingy fresh colour of this green and I added a splash of orange which I though made a nice spring colour combo. The ribbon is Stampin Up ' certain celery' and I have also used the Tiny Tags set also by Stampin UP.

Thank You and a Challenge Card

Morning

We have blue skies and sunshine today now that was nice to wake up to!

I would like to say a massive THANK YOU for all of you that went and signed the petition following the attack on my little Max, so far over 200 names have been added from this appeal. The support has been brilliant and has really helped us over the last few days. Max is doing really well the wounds are healing nicely and he is far more comfortable now. Tail is wagging again too!!!

Just another quick plug, if you haven't seen the post yet and want to, here it is but be warned the pics are nasty!

Ok onto my card which I made for Sheila and Ian Ferguson, known to Max as Mr and Mrs Biscuits as every weekend he used to invite himself into their home and help himself!! hehe. Honestly without them Max would not be here and that is no exaggeration, it is a fact, we are indebted to them forever!!

This is Barney (but not unlike max) from Digi Stamp Boutique coloured with promarkers. The fab papers are Dovecrafts Sugar and Spice and the matching flower is from the same range and I popped a lovely pink pearl in the centre. Incy Wincy Challenge DT Card

Before I go onto my card let me tell you a little bit about the Incy Wincy Digi Store - 'Aspire to Thrive Childrens Charity Shop'. They are a charity organisation based out of Southern Australia and all proceeds go to different children's learning tools and apparatus to benefit children with disabilities. All involved are volunteers and all money earned from the digi stamps (minus pay pal fees) go to the charity. Why not hop over and treat yourself to a digi and help out at the same time .. Perfect!!

Coco and Flowers!!!!!

Hello

I have a busy weekend coming up, I am off to our annual company dinner and dance which is always good fun. Normally we lap it up 5 star style at the Celtic Manor Resort but this year we are being moved to the Birmingham Hilton Metropole, doesn't quite have the same ring to it but I am sure it is very nice, we will see!!. I love getting all dressed up for this event, all the men wear black tie and the ladies cocktail or full length dresses, having chubby legs I wear the latter !
I will catch up with you when I get back on Sunday night, unless of course I am still in 'recovery' stage!

I have a little challenge card today though using Coco and flowers from Digi Stamp Boutique.

Animal Magic at Fab n Funky

A Valentine Card and.........

Hello, especially to my new blog buddies, I have had 3 lovely peeps join me this week, so thank you.

Today I am feeling a bit slushy so I made a valentine card, but who is it for, depends who sends me one first, usually its Johnny Depp but last year Jon Bon Jovi got in first, may be it will be Matt Baker this year LOL!!!!! (if only).

I have used this cute image from Digi Stamp Boutique, Sonny and Pippa and coloured with promarkers. The papers are Basic Grey 'Olivia' collection. The yummy roses and cherry blossom flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I have also used my EK success hearts and swirls border punch, the little bits that fall away I have plonked in the flowers for a bit of shape. I also used a heart punch and stamped a sentiment from a papermania anniversary words set. The ribbon is seam binding from The Ribbon Girl and I am not sure where I got the little heart gem from now. I also used my MS butterfly punch which is getting a lot of use at the moment!
