Love Balloon Papertake Weekly DT

Happy Tuesday, hope your week has got off to a good start, I am on countdown now 4 more days at work and then 2 weeks off!   No holiday for me unfortunately with hubby being out of work for nearly a year we just cant manage it, but the weather is forecast good ( at the moment) so that's something I spose!!

Right what we up to at Papertake Weekly today, well let me tell you we got a little theme going on which is old, new and blue!!  We are sponsored by Whiff Of Joy and you can check out all the details and my teamies oober gorgeous creations HERE!

I love this stamp I got it for my birthday and this is the first ink up so its counting as my new and then I got old ribbon and of course some blue!    I can never manage that die cutting out of the edge so I cheated and lopped the top of the balloon of and then just coloured up another one and stuck it over the top, you get the same effect!!!

Graph'It Markers - Lift Off!!!

Hello me lovelies!

Hope you are having a good weekend, I am just poppin on to share my little secret and in the nick of time too I couldn't hold it in much longer!!!!!!!

I applied to be on the Graph'It Marker DT and totes amazeballs I got picked WAHOOOOOOOOO!!  I am so excited to be on this DT which is run by Nikki Hall who of course is owner and designer of Polkadoodles it is going to be such an exciting journey and we cant wait to get stared and bring you lots of colouring inspiration, hints and tips using these fabulous markers!  You can read all about them HERE and I have to say I am finding them a pleasure to use, the colours really are rich and vibrant!!

Morning all and Happy Tuesday.

Did you spot my post title, how excited am I to be GDT for a couple of months for non other than...... Papertake Weekly, Wahoo!   I am very proud and MEGA excited and thank you  ladies so much for having me on the team and letting me play along for a while I am really looking forward to it!

Pink and Green

Hello and Happy Bank Holiday Monday and we have beautiful sunshine, still cold but so loverly to see the sun!  Not that I have ventured out I have been so naughty just stayed in for 4 days that is not good although maybe it is because I have felt very relaxed and enjoyed myself!!  Might go out for walk in a mo just to blow the cobwebs off and then I am gonna cook a curry and need to do a few jobs as back at work again tomorrow.  I only have 2 weeks to go though and then a week off so really looking forward to that!

Right here we go with me little card for today and I came across a LOTV stamp that I love so decided to give it another ink up, very cute and a very versatile image me thinks.  I have used that oval die again but the other way round so its different really LOL!   Hope you likey.........

TGIF and I am mega excited to be going to the Make It show at Farnborough tomorrow with me dear sis,should be so much fun and of course lots of crafty yumminess to buy,,,oh er I mean look at LOL!! Me budget is pretty lousy but to be honest a day out is very welcome!

A Special Gift....CES DT

Morning

Long weekend yippee, oh that extra day makes all the difference doesn't it.  I need to have a sort out today but hubby is off on a 'ride out' on the bike tomorrow so that gives me lots of crafty time!!  Have no plans yet for Monday wait and see what the weather does first.

So today over at CES our lovely Carrie has chosen the theme of SHAPE IT UP!  Have to be honest always makes me sigh coz I love my square cards but I do need to try different shapes.  I saw this kick stand card tutorial over on the LOTV ideas to inspire blog that Bev did and thought, yep that's the one for me coz it's still quite square LOL!  I really like it and you can use all sorts of shapes for the stand!  Only thing is that I found it a bit of a nightmare to photo to get a good angel to show the stand but never mind I am sure you get the idea!

I have used a gorgeous LOTV image teamed with some fab BG papers....

Do you know I sit here sometimes for what seems like forever trying to think of how to start my post off, then when I do think of something I  type it all out and then delete it and revert to the weather LOL!  Although I have woken up to beautiful sunshine which is right in my eyes but I am too lazy to get up off  my butt and pull the blind!!

Naughty lie in for me today,  nearly 9 before I woke up!!!   Beth  and I are off down town today, she is after some new shoes (oh god this could take a while)!  I expect we will grab a spot of lunch too!

Today's card is using one of the new releases from LOTV,  please excuse the mistake, I think she is wearing a beret but I did it as hair, never mind!  I didn't really spot it it until it was all finished and I wasn't going to colour it all again!!!  EDIT - Yay I did get it right it is hair and that's as per LOTV, mind you it does also look good as  a beret so I guess it's whatever you fancy making it!
