Spring Is In The Air - Incy Wincy DT

Good Morning

This weeks challenge at Incy Wincy is a Spring Theme, so we want to see all those lovely fresh colours and spring themed images in your projects.

We DT also got an image to use, this is Lenny Bee, now how cute is he!!

Lenny is busy collecting his honey and he is coloured with promarkers. The fab gingham paper is MME 'Gertie' and the little faux stitching is a rub on which my sis gave me!! Ribbon, gems and little flowers from stash. I hope you likey?

We have blue skies and sunshine today now that was nice to wake up to!

I would like to say a massive THANK YOU for all of you that went and signed the petition following the attack on my little Max, so far over 200 names have been added from this appeal. The support has been brilliant and has really helped us over the last few days. Max is doing really well the wounds are healing nicely and he is far more comfortable now. Tail is wagging again too!!!

Just another quick plug, if you haven't seen the post yet and want to, here it is but be warned the pics are nasty!

Ok onto my card which I made for Sheila and Ian Ferguson, known to Max as Mr and Mrs Biscuits as every weekend he used to invite himself into their home and help himself!! hehe. Honestly without them Max would not be here and that is no exaggeration, it is a fact, we are indebted to them forever!!

This is Barney (but not unlike max) from Digi Stamp Boutique coloured with promarkers. The fab papers are Dovecrafts Sugar and Spice and the matching flower is from the same range and I popped a lovely pink pearl in the centre. Sentiment is from Stampin Up 'Tiny Tags' and ribbon is from stash, hope you like it.

My dog savaged - WARNING horrible pics in this post!!

Ok I have thought long and hard(for a week) about doing this post as I did not want to write it while I was so angry.


My dog Max was nearly killed last Wednesday while going for his evening walk by 2 dogs that charged out from a house (the front door was left open) and proceeded to lock onto his neck and basically tried to rip him apart. My poor husband had to witness this attack which lasted for at least five minutes whilst trying desperately to save him. These dogs had no collar to grab,nothing! We are very thankful to 2 of our friends who heard the screams (of dog and husband)and had no hesitation in helping. Below are some pictures of the result of this attack and the reason for my post is in the hope that a few people will sign the below petition to replace the current dangerous dogs act.

The owners of course have taken no responsibility, have not apologised, have shown no concern what so ever for Max and have not offered to pay anything towards the vet bill which is now just short of £1000.00 and is ongoing. Max has suffered major surgery, the pain and stress which has followed has been almost unbearable for him.

A Punchy Challenge - Digital Tuesday DT

I have used this gorgeous little fairy 'sparkles' available at Stitchy's store and she is coloured with polychromos pencils. The beautiful prima papers are from the 'Madeline' collection and the sentiment is from LOTV. Lace and gems from stash and out came the 'frosted lace' stickles round the edges for some bling!

Happy Monday, hope you had a good weekend, maybe you had lots of crafty time!!

We have a fab challenge for you today at Incy Wincy which is to use Punches and/or Dies on your project......simples!!!!!

We are very kindly sponsored by Peggy Loves Vintage and the DT were given some fab images to use for this challenge, one of which I have used on my card.

I have teamed this cute pre coloured little chap with some Basic Grey papers from the 'Curio' collection. I used my nesties a Marianne Die for the leaf and a punch for the computer generated sentiment from Stampin Up. Flowers, lace and ribbon from stash.

Make your Own - Fab n Funky DT

Good Morning

Its a new Fab n Funky challenge today and this week we want you to........

...make your own embellishment.....

We are very kindly sponsored by Di's Digi Downloads and we got some totally fab images to play with!!

Ok I have made a little button centre for my flower, punch half a dozen circles, stick together and cover with glossy accent. Use a cropodile or similar to add a couple of holes for effect and that's it!! I love how you can make them to match your card by punching the top layer from your DP.

I have used Makeover Maisy from Di's Digi Downloads and she is coloured with promarkers. Please excuse the fact that I gave her leggings instead of socks, no idea what happened there and actually never even realised until I uploaded it here LOL! The papers are MME and one of my favs (but I seem to have a lot of favs!)I would like to enter into;

I have used Spring Kiki from CC Designs, what a little sweetie she is. I have coloured with promarkers and whispers and used my rectangle nestabilities. I also used my MS heart border punch and the butterfly one is I think by Docrafts,( its been so long since I used this one) its the dimension punch but I have cut the butterfly free! A little challenge card here using a fab freebie digital image and sentiment from Doodle Pantry. Look at that cheeky little bird in the house hanging on by his wings with his legs dangling, LOL!

I have coloured with promarkers and I am not sure about the papers, possibly papermania and I just love this corrugated paper which I punched using a scalloped edged punch from Stampin Up. A bit of faux stitching and some lovely flowers using an Nellie Snellen punch. The dotty organza ribbon and gems from stash. I used a silver spacer with a gem on top for the tag.

Incy Wincy Challenge DT Card

I am very happy to announce that I have joined the Incy Wincy design team and we have a fab challenge for you this week .......

Love - Use Red, Pink and White

Before I go onto my card let me tell you a little bit about the Incy Wincy Digi Store - 'Aspire to Thrive Childrens Charity Shop'. They are a charity organisation based out of Southern Australia and all proceeds go to different children's learning tools and apparatus to benefit children with disabilities. All involved are volunteers and all money earned from the digi stamps (minus pay pal fees) go to the charity. Why not hop over and treat yourself to a digi and help out at the same time .. Perfect!!
