Another early morning....... another card!!

Happy Easter everyone, have you got lots of chokolit to eat...... mmmm yummy!! I did have 1 egg but I ate it on Thursday LOL!

We are having a bbq this afternoon which should be good and tonight off to a pub quiz with some friends so I am looking forward today, although I bet a feel pants tomorrow!!

Uptown Angel ........ What a beautiful day!

Good Morning

Oh so glad its a long weekend and what amazing weather we have, so sunny and warm. I have got the 'time tunnel' on the radio, lots of my favourite songs playing from way back ....great day. I got up really early though so I had a little play in my cupboard, well what else can you do at 6am?

This is the result, a Kenny K card using Uptown Angel.

I have used copics and the Prima papers are from the 'Annalee' collection. I used my fabby new MS zig zag border punch which also embosses, mmm and the flowers are from Hobby House, craftwork cards sentiment and oh look some gingham ribbon!

Here Comes the Bride..............Fab N Funky DT

Good Morning

Oh I think I can still say it, Yippee its half way to the weekend, except it's an extra long weekend so may be we are over halfway.....even better!!!

Now this week our theme is linked to the forthcoming Royal Wedding when everyone in the UK will get an extra Bank Holiday . . . whoooo ! So we would like to see all your wedding or tying the knot themed projects for this week.

This happy little couple is Henry and Zoe from Digi Stamp Boutique, arn't they cute together!

Coloured with copics and of course the veil was just screaming out to be stickled to the exteme!!

I finished with a nice big white bow and the fab centre gem I got from Ally Pally a couple of weeks ago, oh what a fab bit of bling! I used my MS heart punch too and stamped the sentiment.

I have used a digi image called 'Sweet Love' by Blue Butterfly Stamps, I love this image. She is coloured with copics and look I even got a bit of shine on her hair!! YIPPEE!! The fab dotty paper is from Wild Rose Studio and the flowers and ribbon from Hobby House. I used my MS Daisy border punch and X-Cut butterfly punch. The sentiment is Craftwork Cards layered up using a little nestie.

Best Friends

Good Afternoon

Are you enjoying the sunshine?,... what a fab day here is Maidstone, although I have spent all of it indoors, first doing the very boring housework and then in my crafty cupboard.

I would like to say thanks for the lovely comments lately, especially on my KK Club Kid in lilac, I got lots of comments on my colouring which I am really chuffed about because I have been really practising. My colouring doesn't normally get mentioned so maybe the practising is starting to pay off.

I have made a little card today using Best Friends from LOTV (like you didn't know!) LOL. My daughter is going to give it to her friend for her birthday.

The little sentiment is also from LOTV and the papers are FF 'Retro'. Gems and flowers and ribbon from stash. I got that NS little vellum butterfly again in this one, but is sooo cute!

Bit miffed this one has not photographed well, probably my crappy photography skills, or lack of, but really the colours are much lighter in real life, looks a bit heavy in the pics.

Had a little play with some of my new stash that I got from Ally Pally. The stamp of course is from LOTV and she is coloured with copics and the wings are glamour dusted to the extreme!! The papers are from the dotty pack from Wild Rose Studio. I got the flowers from Hobby house at the show, just love the colours. I used my new Nellie Snellen butterfly punch and emboss (coz I haven't got enough butterfly ones LOl). The cute little WISH tag I also got from the show but I am not sure from which stand.

Flower Frenzy at Incy Wincy

Morning

Well that's the weekend over again in the blink of an eye. Mind you we had superb weather, lots of blue skies and fab sunshine, a little on the breezy side though but still glorious! I went to Ally Pally yesterday, wow got some lovely stash and with the clear skies had a fantastic view over the city, just stunning!

Today we have a new challenge for you at Incy Wincy which is FLORAL FRENZY!!

Oooh what a fab challenge!

A bit Sketchy - Fab N Funky DT

Now I am sure you know what I am going to say, Yep, Yippee half way to the weekend!! hehe

We have a fab sketch for you this week at Fab n Funky which our lovely Emma has done, great job Emma!!

I have used this cheeky little chap from Digi Stamp Boutique, he is called Sammy. I have coloured him with copics and the papers, oh I love them for male cards are Forever Friends, Retro collection, FAB! You can't see it very well but the little brad I put on his hat says 'Boys Rule' which of course they dont! The circles are using the 1 inch punch from Stampin Up and a little star punch for the centre, finished with a few candy as well.

Gosh I am glad today is over, I had a bad dose of Monday Blues today!! After I have done this post its going to be feet up and not much else!!

I treated myself to another Kenny K digi, this one is Bathing Beauty, she looks a right little sauce pot doesn't she?

I love this image and she is coloured with Copics, the paper is from Craft Creations and the ribbon and gems from stash. I have again used the die cut letters from one of the Papermania sets, (these have come in handy at last!) The gems and lovely pink dotty ribbon from stash.

Where did the weekend go, boo hoo it was over in flash! Hope you had a good weekend whatever you got up to!

I have used Yoo Hoo's Tea from the store, isn't he cute?

No I must admit I am really not happy how this turned out, I love the little image but I think I chose the wrong papers, I cannot get these Tea Party ones to work for me! The pocket is very simple, a strip of card folded in half and the top inch scored for the flap. I used Marianne die for the flower, and that's it nice and simples!!
