A Valentine Card and.........

Hello, especially to my new blog buddies, I have had 3 lovely peeps join me this week, so thank you.
Today I am feeling a bit slushy so I made a valentine card, but who is it for, depends who sends me one first, usually its Johnny Depp but last year Jon Bon Jovi got in first, may be it will be Matt Baker this year LOL!!!!! (if only).

I have used this cute image from Digi Stamp Boutique, Sonny and Pippa and coloured with promarkers. The papers are Basic Grey 'Olivia' collection. The yummy roses and cherry blossom flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I have also used my EK success hearts and swirls border punch, the little bits that fall away I have plonked in the flowers for a bit of shape. I also used a heart punch and stamped a sentiment from a papermania anniversary words set. The ribbon is seam binding from The Ribbon Girl and I am not sure where I got the little heart gem from now. I also used my MS butterfly punch which is getting a lot of use at the moment!

Hope you are all well, there is so much flu and stuff around at the moment, hope you are managing to avoid it.

We have a fab challenge for you this week at Digital Tuesday chosen by our lovely Michelle P which is 'All White except for ONE image'. All papers and embellishments must be white and remember to use a digi somewhere on your card/project too.

I have used a Stitchy Bear image called Poppy Fairy but unfortunately it does not seem to be available any more in the store. James Bear (and a very large cracker)!!!!!

Good evening

Popped out today and managed a little bit of Christmas shopping, is it me or are all the gifts the same now, year after year or does it just mean I am getting old LOL!!!

I have faffed about for what seems like forever with this card and I am all faffed out now.

I have used James Bear from LOTV and he has a very big cracker which I think must be to pull with Jenny Bear, oh he is a bit saucy.

He is coloured with promarkers and I have part coloured and part paper pieced the cracker. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and they have been chalked and stickled up. I found a little bit of twizzle lurking around so I added that to the white ribbon. I also used up my little bit of frayed ribbon which I have nearly thrown away a few times cause I didn't think I would ever use it but it is the perfect colour match for this card. I also used cosmic shimmer for the star on the cracker and twinklets for the hat.

I would like to enter for 2 challenges:

LOTV - Anything Goes

Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes

Thanks for poppin in, I am off to do the LOTV bloghop now.

Going Around In Circles - Fab N Funky DT

Morning

Oh it is freezing this morning, but the rain seems to have stopped for now which is good although I think it is due back again tomorrow!! Urhhh!!!

Wednesday means a new challenge over at Fab N Funky and I think a nice easy one this week so hopefully we will have lots and lots of entries! We would like to see some circles in some shape or form on your card or project. So this might be the shape of your card or some circles in the paper or round the image, as long as there is a circle somewhere!!!!

We are sponsored once again by Stitchy Bear Stamps, hop over and check them out here!

I have used Butterfly Fairy from Stitchy Bear and she is coloured with promarkers. I followed one of Bev's sketches too. The paper is Basic Grey ' Bittersweet'. The flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and the lace and bling from stash. I used stickles on the flowers, I took the photo while it was still a bit wet so it looks a little gloopy in the photo.
I will look forward to popping round to see what you have come up with this week, hope I don't get to dizzy!! LOL!

Take care

What a Sweetie!!!

Evening

Bit of a chill out day today, been pottering around the house doing a few odd jobs while hubby cooked a lovely liver and bacon casserole and I did some roast pots and Brussels to go with it, delicious!! All finished off with a very large chocolate muffin that my daughter made!

Tonight's card is for 3 challenges:

Sweet Stampin - Photo Inspiration - here is the photo, the colours inspired me and the thought of something sweet to eat!

The Crafty Pad - 1 circle and 2 bows
A Spoon full Of Sugar - Relish to Embellish

The image is wait for it..... from Digi stamp Boutique and the papers are from papermania - Rose Garden which I have a thing about at the moment. It is a nice big 8x8 card so you can get lots on it!! I made my own little iced gems with a craftwork card candy and gem stuck on top!! My hubby asked why there would be butterflies flying round her so I told him she was eating outside LOL!!

Thanks for popping in.

The Night Before Christmas

Hello again
Well 2 posts from me today, I really should save one for tomorrow but then again it will give me an excuse to make another card. hehehe! Please scroll down and check out my earlier post!
Now I tried really really really really hard with my colouring on this one, I think there is an improvement with my shading? Do you think I have done any better? I do get a bit down sometimes when my colouring lets me down, I really am not a natural! Never mind I will keep at it! I am blabbing on a bit tonight I think it is because I have had a little glass of wine, got some great 80's music on the radio, going down memory lane. LOL!
I really enjoyed the colour scheme for this card and I am entering into four challenges;
Sketch Saturday - Loved this sketch!
LOTV - One for the girls
Charisma - With Love at Christmas
Allsorts - Twas the night before Christmas
The stamp is LOTV, the paper is Dream Street Papers 'Wonderland' the snowflakes are punched using a Kars punch and covered with twinklets and I have used a spacer( I think that's what it is called) in the centre. The flowers and gems are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I have added some cosmic shimmer round her feet, hence the flat picture, it shows better from this angle!
I hope you like it, thanks for popping in.

I'm Not Square!!

Two posts for me today, hubby has been really helpful, he has cooked a lovely hotpot,
run the hoover round and done a bit of ironing!! I on the other hand have not done very much really!!
This weeks challenge at PBSC is 'Don't Be Square' umm my fav card to use. So after much deliberation I have done a flowerpot card LOl! (my kids tell me off for using LOl apparently it really is not very cool!!) The tutorial for these can be found on splitcoast stampers under the resources section. I have made these before with the flowers but thought the little hedgie would look quite cute in it. He is from the 'Tiny Wishes' stamp set and the papers are Bo-Bunny.
Thanks for popping in
