Happy Monday, hope you had a good weekend, maybe you had lots of crafty time!!

We have a fab challenge for you today at Incy Wincy which is to use Punches and/or Dies on your project......simples!!!!!

We are very kindly sponsored by Peggy Loves Vintage and the DT were given some fab images to use for this challenge, one of which I have used on my card.

I have teamed this cute pre coloured little chap with some Basic Grey papers from the 'Curio' collection. I used my nesties a Marianne Die for the leaf and a punch for the computer generated sentiment from Stampin Up. Flowers, lace and ribbon from stash.

I have used 'Thinking Ant' from Doodle Pantry which is a Freebie and I just love that you get a perfect sentiment to go with it! Coloured with promarkers and chalks. Animal Magic at Fab n Funky

Good Morning

Hope your week is going well, half way to the weekend! Yippee!

This week at Fab n Funky we want you to go all 'ANIMAL' but in a tasteful way of course!!!

We are very kindly sponsored by Robyns Fetish, you must check out the DT cards as there is a fab image called 'I Toadily love you ' which is so cool. I didn't get organised and had to make my sons birthday card so I couldn't use it this time round but I am definitely going to!

I have used Marvin from Digi Stamp Boutique, what a cute little monkey and even though my son is 17 today he is still a very cheeky monkey! The papers are Basic Grey 'Curio' and I used my circle nesties, MS frond punch and SU scallop edge punch. I coloured some white buttons with promarkers, I love how they go sort of mottled! A few craftwork candy to finish.

A Valentine Card and.........

Hello, especially to my new blog buddies, I have had 3 lovely peeps join me this week, so thank you.

Today I am feeling a bit slushy so I made a valentine card, but who is it for, depends who sends me one first, usually its Johnny Depp but last year Jon Bon Jovi got in first, may be it will be Matt Baker this year LOL!!!!! (if only).

I have used this cute image from Digi Stamp Boutique, Sonny and Pippa and coloured with promarkers. The papers are Basic Grey 'Olivia' collection. The yummy roses and cherry blossom flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I have also used my EK success hearts and swirls border punch, the little bits that fall away I have plonked in the flowers for a bit of shape. I also used a heart punch and stamped a sentiment from a papermania anniversary words set. The ribbon is seam binding from The Ribbon Girl and I am not sure where I got the little heart gem from now. I also used my MS butterfly punch which is getting a lot of use at the moment!

I have used this fab image from Pink Petticoat, he even comes on a skateboard, how cool is that! These gorgeous papers are Basic Grey 'Curio' I love them!! He is coloured with promarkers and of course his crown is topped with gold jewels, well Dovecraft budget gems but you know they look the same!!! A spot of gingham ribbon and some candy coloured with promarkers to finish

Going Around In Circles - Fab N Funky DT

Morning


Oh it is freezing this morning, but the rain seems to have stopped for now which is good although I think it is due back again tomorrow!! Urhhh!!!


Wednesday means a new challenge over at Fab N Funky and I think a nice easy one this week so hopefully we will have lots and lots of entries! We would like to see some circles in some shape or form on your card or project. So this might be the shape of your card or some circles in the paper or round the image, as long as there is a circle somewhere!!!!

I have used Butterfly Fairy from Stitchy Bear and she is coloured with promarkers. I followed one of Bev's sketches too. The paper is Basic Grey ' Bittersweet'. The flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and the lace and bling from stash. I used stickles on the flowers, I took the photo while it was still a bit wet so it looks a little gloopy in the photo.

I will look forward to popping round to see what you have come up with this week, hope I don't get to dizzy!! LOL!

Use a Digi Image Fab N Funky DT Card

Hello

Yippee its Wednesday, half way to the weekend and time for another challenge which you chose at Fab N Funky. This week we are using a digi image and we are very kindly sponsored by Soft Pencil. The image I have used is Michu and Christmas Tree, make sure you check out the rest of the fab DT cards to see some more designs!!

I have used Basicgrey paper from the Eskimo Kisses collection, it is just gorgeous. I have punched some snowflakes using Kars medium and small punch and covered them (and myself) in twinklets and cosmic shimmer, topped with a little metal thingy(have now idea of the technical name) and a gem, you can get a good look in the close up pic. The tree is stickled and boy does this card glow on my mantle-piece.

Good Start to the Weekend!!

Hello

Its National Cardmakers Day today!! This is a lovely swap organised over on the docrafts website. Everyone got paired up with a buddy and you just made a card so that you had something to open today!! Great idea I think, it was fun. This is the card to I sent to my buddy, a lovely lady called Shona.

Oh and I won(randomly picked) at Penny Black Saturday Challenge, and so I get to choose 4 rolls of ribbon, and I do love my ribbon so really happy about that!

The image is a Ballet Matilda from the Digi Stamp Boutique, paper is Basicgrey but I can't remember which collection it is from, added a few flowers from Wild Orchid crafts and inked round the edge of the circle just to soften it a bit.

Basicgrey Challenge Card

Hello all

This is my entry for the Basicgrey Challenge which is paper piecing. I really like this technique and I have used it on her little top and flower in her hair. My BG paper is from the Eva collection 'Aristocrat'. The stamp is from the Milton & Co range by Wild Rose Studio and she is Gardening Millie, such a cutie. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Penny Black Challenge Card

I am entering my card today into 2 challenges:

Penny Black at Allsorts - Punch to be used
Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Purple, Brown and Cream.

I have used a border punch on this card, just about got my bit of brown in with the sentiment which is using the SU tiny tag punch and little bow. The stamps is Penny Black Bees and Honey which I used recently (need another pay day before I can buy any more)LOL! The paper is Basic Grey and image coloured with promarkers. Flowers and cream pearls from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Basic Grey Challenge Entry - Pearls

This is my entry for the Basic Grey challenge which asked for pearls to be used. I have used a pearl effect ribbon slider , kindly donated by my fab sis and some pearls in the corners. The striped paper is Basic Grey, Kioshi. I have used some flowers from my stash and used a punch for the centre of them and the sentiment is using the SU stamp set and matching punches.
