Shabby Chic - Fab n Funky DT

Oh never done a shabby chic card before not sure if I have here either but I must admit I am pretty pleased with it! The beautiful Prima papers are from the Madeline collection and the cherry blossoms and roses from Wild orchid crafts. The stamp is Inkadinkado, what a fab sentiment! I used some cream lace and green organza ribbon, a few gems and punched butterflies. I finished the top and bottom of the card with some stringy stuff! I could have done with some distress inks I think to rub round the edges but I haven't got any. I did think about getting a t-bag out but decided NOT.

Sparkle n Shine - Incy Wincy DT

Morning

Kicking off the week with a brand new challenge at Incy Wincy which is Sparkle and Shine!

We are thrilled to be sponsored by Heart song Designs and the DT also got some images to play with so be sure to check out the challenge blog to see the beautiful creations.

Now last week I hid my embossing and I haven't done much better this week either. I have not gone overboard on sparkle but hey the little butterfly on his nose is glamour dusted and I have some lovely sparkly gems!

This is Butterfly bear from the store coloured with copics, so sweet! The papers are those Wild Rose Studio ones again and the ribbon is certain celery from SU.

Goin Clubbing!!!!!!!!............

Oh this makes me feel old, it must be 20+ years since I last went clubbing, strutting me stuff in my green (yes green) cords and black suede stilletoes to D.I.S.C.O!!

Hope you are enjoying your Sunday, after a misog start we have had lovely sunshine today, bit breezy but that's good got my washing dry!!

I decided to have a go at a Kenny K image today, these are fab to colour in and they have such lovely faces.

This one is 'Club Kid' and she is coloured with Copics. The funky papers are from Wild Rose Studio 'Cherry Cake', I love the textured look on them and all the embellies from stash.

I hope you like her ( Heidy marks out of 10 please, don't be mean though LOL!!!)

On the Swing..........

Hello

Thank goodness its the weekend, I have been quite under the weather this week, can't quite put my finger on it but it seems I am not the only one, I have seen a lot of posts where people have been poorly. I hope if you are one of them that you are now feeling better. I didn't even get my DT card done for Fab N funky this week so apologies to my teamies.

I have made a card today though using an image from Pollycraft, these really are gorgeous, sweet images! I think they might be one of my new favs!!!

This little sweetie is called Swinging Friends and I have coloured her with copics. The gorgeous prima papers are from the Annalee and Madeline collections. I got the fab flowers in a clear out at WH Smiths and changed them round a bit, they are a great match! The swirls are from a Marianne die and I also used a butterfly punch and border punch and rectangle nesties. I followed a fab sketch at Friday Sketchers which I won last week - whoo hoo!

I have used an image from the store by Hope Jacare called Daisy 2.

Ok now for the game of 'spot the embossing' LOL. I have embossed my Brazil card stock using a beautiful paisley embossing folder and did have a nice 2.5 cm border so that it showed, but then I faffed around and changed the design so much I ended up cutting it off, you can only just see a little bit round the edges but I promise it is there. She is coloured with copics and out came my new fav die by Marianne, love this one.

Sunday Sweetness

Morning

I got myself a Simply Adorable digi image, I really am on the fence with these, one minute I love them and the next not so much!! Anyway thought I would have a go, they are nice to colour and if like me you find the shading a bit difficult they really do help you with it.

The papers are Craftwork cards and they were a freebie with a mag! The flourish is a punch (its my sisters which I forgot to give back!) and the little flower is punched using the Boho flowers from Stampin Up. I added some lace and seam binding, kinda liked it simple so I left it at that.

Going Green - Fab N Funky DT

Good Morning

I hope your week is going well, I always like doing my Wednesday post coz it's half way to the weekend!! Yippee!!!

Ok this week at Fab n Funky our challenge is a St Patricks Day theme or if you prefer just to use green as your main feature colour.

The prize this week is a GDT slot, we would love to have you come join us!

I have to be honest I struggled a bit with this one, um just was not in the mood but it's kind of grown on me a bit!!

I love the image though which is Lily in Rain gear from Pink Cat Studio and I wanted to draw some puddles but was too scared LOL!!!

She is coloured with copics and the papers are Dovecraft's Back to Basics II. I have gone for the wonky look which I just love at the moment and seem to keep using!! The flowers and gems are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I have had this image for a little while now and not yet inked her up so I thought I would remedy that for this challenge. Practise needed, yes for sure but I must admit I am really pleased with them and for me personally I do find them much easier to use which is a bloomin good job seeing as I bought 144 of them!!!!! Roll on the LOTV masterclass!!

Anyway my neighbour next door but one was very excited to tell me yesterday that her grandson who is 7 ( I think) was on the Chris Moyles radio show doing some rapping, apparently he was awesome and Chris sent him a card! A star in the making me thinks! So I have made this card for him, I haven't got an image of singing into a microphone but I liked this one and thought it was nice for his age. This one is Billy rockstar but today it is Michael Rap Star!! It is from Pink Cat studio as is the sentiment. The papers are papermania and I added some red to zing it up!
