La La Land GDT

Morning

Not gonna say Happy Monday coz I have to go  back to work and I really don't want too (sob) also this is my last post for La La Land as my GDT spot comes to an end :o(   I feel privileged to have spent two months with what can only be described as an ooober talented team and was so lucky to get to play with the fabulous new Summer  CHA releases.  Massive thank you to Irina, Rosemary and all the DT for this fab experience!

La La Land Crafts 2013 Release

Morning Happy Monday

 La La Land Summer CHA Release kicks off today, just take a look at all these beauties, gorgeous images, beautiful dies and of course some new shadow boxes and project kits too!  All these will be showcased during this week over at La La Land so go take a peep!!

My project for today is a shadow box, eeek never done one before but seriously I needn't have worried they are so easy to put together, honestly if I can do it anyone can!!  This is the Christmas Shadow box which I have inked up with brilliance gold and smothered in snowflake glitter,ooh  it was everywhere!  I am a traditional girl at heart so for me red and green and gold is always gonna be my fav for Christmas.

Marci with Tulip - La La Land GDT

Good Morning

Yay day 1 of  my 2 weeks off and just as well I don't now how I would fit all the craft stuff in that I need to complete over the next few days, LOl!!  Anyhows hope you had a good weekend, are you cooked yet???

I am looking forward to tonight I am going to a Fashion Show at Beth's school that she and several other girls have organised, she has put lots of time into it so I hope it goes well!

Okay so over at La La Land todays inspiration post is all about embossing, wet or dry!   I always forget about embossing, I don't know why it just never springs to mind so you might have to look for it on my card but it is there  (just) on my little butterflies!!!

I have used Marci with Tulip an some gorgeous First Edition papers and a mix of Copics and Graph It Markers.

Wheelbarrow Marci - La La Land GDT

Morning my crafty friends.

Hope you had a good weekend, mine was soooooo busy, we visited De Montfort University in Leicester on Saturday!   Beth is interested in doing a Fashion Buying degree but having now seen  Contour Fashion she is now thinking very seriously about that! Anyway it was a good day and I have to say the Uni organised it very well!  Wednesday we are visiting Manchester Met, OMG such a long drive so I have booked us in at a Premier Inn!!  Why cant my kids just pick one close to home LOL!!!!

Tea Time Marci - La La Land GDT

Good Morning

Happy Monday and I hope you had a good weekend we had beautiful sunshine, clear blue skies and it was just so lovely!!!!!

 Anyway I cant waffle anymore coz I am fit to burst I have waited so long to be able to announce my GDT spot for................... LA LA LAND, whoop whoop!  Most of you will know how much I love little Marci and Luka so I really am chuffed to bits and I couldn't believe it when I got an invite from Rosie.  I will be joining team Monday for the next 2 months so a massive thank you to Rosie, Irina and all the DT girls for letting me play along.

Okay have a fabulous day peeps, I have had a MEGA busy weekend, I had to move all my stuff out of Jamie's room and go back in my cupboard under the stairs coz he is coming back for the summer on Tuesday! It took me 5 hours up and down stairs , phew a good workout !!!  Everything has had a good sort out though and is nice and clean and organised ( that wont last long)!!   I will be catching up with you all tonight, can't wait to see what you have all been up to!

Yeah for Friday it does seem to have been a long week for some reason!!  Well today is our 11th Anniversary and in true Karen style have I made a card no I bought one LOL, I think hubby is used to it now I seem to forget to make one most years (oops).  Its my Birthday on Sunday so we will go out tomorrow night for a meal to celebrate both!  So today I have a little Marci card to share, I do love me Marci's!!!!
