Oh hope you are enjoying your Sunday, its glorious here in Kent today :o)

I have been indoors though, I really should get out for a little while but I got up early and got the ironing out the way and then made 2 batches of cupcakes, choc chip for the kids as their fav and coffee and walnut for me and hubby.  Tonight I am cooking one of Jamie Olivers 30 min meals, decided I really need to brush up on my cooking skills which are pretty naff!  I have also made a card but I did the colouring last night OMG 3 before this went in the bin but I am happy with this one now.  Another gorgeous freebie from Krista at Saturated Canary and I  must admit when I read the challenge of black white and one other I wasn't over keen as took me way out of my comfort zone but guess what........I LOVE it, hope you likey?????????

A Tiddly one for Friday

Well this is my last day off, got the weekend I know but that doesn't count and then back to work on Monday, Boo Hoo, I was just starting to chill as well, 2 weeks is not enough!!   

I was supposed to be doing housework today but I decided to be rebelious and not do it, maybe one of the kids will do it for me , yeah right!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway I  made a card for my MIL who is a bit down at the mo so hoping this card will cheer her up a little bit...........  I used Lilli Claire from Tiddlyinks coz she is a little poppet!!  I used that little edgelit again from SU this time not to shape my card blank but as a border.

Hello again, second post today, my Digital Delights card is below if you fancy a peek!!
So today I have had a good old play in my cupboard, got me DT card done for the weekend so that's good and then thought I would have a bash with my Stampin Up edgelits and matching embossing folders.. There are two very decorative edges which you can combine with a complimenting embossing folder , I think it makes for a lovely finish.  I have taken a pic to show you what I mean!!

Thursday already and typical I hear the weather is due to change for the better next week when I go BACK to work!!! Just my Luck!  Oh well worse things happen at sea as they say!

So today is Inspiration Thursday over at Digital Delights and oh I have used a gorgeous image, Bride and Groom, so sweet, look at her little face she looks so happy doesn't she LOL!  My sister gave me a few sheets of some scrummy papers from the papermania collection and they were just perfect for this card!! I got out  my best lace for this one!!!!  Because I don't actually have anyone to give this to I used a fun sentiment too!!!

Hoorah a card at last.....................................

Hello dear friends
I know I keep saying sorry lately but I really am and hopefully I might finally be back on track now so normal visiting service will resume LOL!!(fingers crossed).  Unfortunately still no luck for my hubby finding a job, must admit I am worried now there just doesn't seem to be anything around :o(
Well Beth's room is finished looks bloomin amazing, she designed it all herself and I am so proud!!  She was pretty handy with a paint brush too!!  I keep finding excuses to go up there and have another look!! Will try and get some pics to show you :0) Well yesterday I finally found some mojo and made a couple of cards, one is for my DT card tomorrow so have to wait until then for that but my card today features the fab freebie from Saturated Canary, WOW isn't she stunning and Krista is so generous to let us all have this beauty!!! I used my gorgeous new papers,MMMmm MMMmm I love them, I hope you likey......................

Hello dear peeps, hope you are all well and not  too soggy from ALL this BLOOMIN  rain, OMG  so fed up with it now, I can't get my washing dry (no tumbler)!!!!  Anyway sorry for not visiting you over the last few days I am decorating Beths room and so knee deep in paint and trips to the tip and then if I am not doing that I am searching everything for jobs for hubby!!  Mind you Beth's room is looking gorgeous we have finished painting the walls and the wallpaper is up, the furniture gets delivered today and we just have some glossing to do and then we can start to do the fun stuff!!    Hoping next week to have more free time to come see you although if we do get a break from the rain will need to try and get on in the garden so we will see!!

Yay I have managed a card..... well it is my mum's birthday tomorrow so I couldn't not make one!!!   I have a lot going on here in the O'Brien household my hubby has been made redundant and it really is such a worry, the whole company he worked for has gone under, such a shame for all concerned I just hope and pray he can find a job PDQ!!

School Days - Digital Delights DT

Oh my gosh, it really has been a week since my last post, everything is going on at once and I barely have time to turn  my lappy on let alone make a card!!   Hoping things will settle down a bit as once this week is out the way I have two weeks off WAHOO!  We have Beth's room to decorate though and lots of work needs doing in the garden so I am still going to be a busy bee.  I  am really hoping to find some crafty time as well and will be visiting you all just as soon as I can, I hope you will forgive me for being AWOL!!
